Hi I’m Rob, I set up Foxes Tree Services & Son in April 2009 after working for another Newbury tree surgery company since 2001. I started my career as a full time Climber specialising in all aspects of tree surgery. Those early years really moulded the work ethic and drive to carry out good workmanship.
Foxes is a family run business which I run with my wife Anna. Since setting up the company we have had three sons who all show a keen interest in trees and I hope one day they will learn the ropes and will be out on site with me doing tree surgery work!
I love trees and everything to do with them, I am very passionate about them. We have come along way since setting up in 2009 with minimal equipment and just me and one employee, however our work ethic remains the same… and that’s to carry out top quality tree work at a fair price. Over the years we have had a few apprentices that we have trained up and a few of our older more experienced employees have been with us for many years. We now have a whole team of Arborists and fleet of vehicles and machinery.
We specialise in Tree Surgery and I have dedicated my whole working life to investing money into newer kit and machinery to make jobs easier and safer for every one involved and also more cost-effective for our clients. Furthermore, we have done some really great projects over the years (large and small) and we look forward to another 20 years in the industry.
